When words don’t align, yet are throbbing in the mind

Words aplenty scorched this sheet
like tinkles of caress of your feet,
Moments we chose to remember never to forget,
others we chose to remember to forget.
Lost the words as I did you,
soon they were so very few.
Tuned the strings and strummed a song,
They never made sense; All was wrong
Held a picture of you in my mind,
Hoping it’s again you I find.
